Driving directions to Sand Island Recreation Area:

1. From Nimitz Highway, turn onto Sand Island Access Road
2. Turn right AFTER the bridge (a sign. on the ground saying BMX SANDBOX will be on the right side at the light)
3. Continue onto Sand Island Parkway (upside L shape road)
4. Our canoes will be on the left behind the bathrooms

• Parking is available in the dirt parking lot or paved marked stalls
• PLEASE READ PARKING SIGNS BEFORE LEAVING YOUR VEHICLE

*If you GOOGLE it, Type in 10 Sand Island Access Parkway, Honolulu, or Marine Education Training Center. We share the same parking lot but we are oceanside, to the left of course
